Meet Graciela

A Passion for Education & Student Success

Graciela Gallinar brings 17 years of experience as a master educator with Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Throughout her career, she has been deeply committed to student success, serving as a classroom teacher (PreK–5th grade), Lead Teacher in PreK, and mentor for new M-DCPS teachers and student interns from local colleges.

Contributions to Education & Innovation
Beyond the classroom, Graciela played a key role in shaping innovative education initiatives. She served on Miami-Dade County and United Teachers of Dade committees, contributing to developing the district’s first controlled, open-enrollment PreK programs. She was also involved in the pioneering implementation of the VPK Choice Program, helping expand educational opportunities for pre-kindergarten students across the district.
The Path to College Consulting
Graciela’s journey into educational consulting began at home, when she realized how vastly different her own sons were—and how the college advising they received lacked true individualization. The process felt formulaic, following a one-size-fits-all approach.
As she helped her sons navigate their own unique paths, friends and parents began reaching out for advice. During the pandemic, when many students struggled without direct support, her practice naturally grew, offering customized guidance tailored to each student’s strengths, interests, and goals.

Since establishing Gallinar Education Group, Graciela has worked one-on-one with high school students from South Florida public and private schools, guiding them through the competitive college admissions process. Her expertise also extends to helping undergraduate students gain admission to highly selective graduate programs in dentistry, law, and veterinary medicine.

With a deep understanding of the complexities of college admissions, Graciela is passionate about providing personalized support for students and families. Whether working with students seeking top-tier universities, those facing unique academic or social-emotional challenges, or those in need of a clear roadmap to success, she believes in an inclusive, student-centered approach that empowers each individual to find their best-fit college and future career path.
